What is it?
The Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra is one of South Africa's oldest orchestras, with their first concert being held in 1934. As the years went by, the JSO became well known for their annual Concerto Festivals - this ongoing initiative allows young talented and developing musicians the opportunity to ply a concerto with the orchestra.
For the celebration of Jewish Musical Maestros, the Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra is presenting a musical feast under the baton of conductor and Classic 102.7 presenter, Kutlwano Masote.
