The Future Champions Gauteng Is Back!

Catch the Future Champions Gauteng, featuring five local sides and seven top teams from around the world. Taking place in Soweto, be sure not to miss out on Mzansi’s take on some of the world’s top football clubs in this action-packed tournament, the Future Champions Gauteng! Why go? Catch a glimpse of the future stars of the world game with some of the best junior football teams in the world at the 2015 Future Champions Gauteng International Tournament at the Nike Football Training Centre in Soweto. Now in its seventh year, this tournament is a popular fixture on the global junior football calendar and will feature five local sides and seven top teams from around the world. Not only is this a great opportunity for thriving young sportsmen to play a game they love, but it’s also a great opportunity for the players from all the teams to interact and learn about different cultures. The international junior football teams include top side Cruzeiro from Brazil and Ferroviario de Maputo from Mozambique, who will be making their first appearance and competing at the Future Champions Gauteng Tournament for the first time. There will also be three top sides coming out of Europe – Italian Serie A Club Torino, English Premiership Sunderland AFC and Netherlands outfit ADO Den Haag. K-Stars from Zambia, and Oryx FC from Namibia will also be competing. Local teams will include SuperSport United, Orlando Pirates FC, Jomo Cosmos, AmaTuks, and BidVest Wits.
