The Eagle Express

The Eagle Express is a big toy train operating on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays from around 11am at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens. The train transports children and adults from the entrance through to the waterfall end of the gardens and the charge is R5 for a one way trip and R10 for a return trip. Children and Adults considered physically challenged or underprivileged children from orphanages are transported free of charge. The train gives out a range of six “I-Spy” bookmarks that feature pictures of surrounding nature in the gardens which children have great fun finding. Private bookings can be made for special events at the gardens such as children’s parties, weddings and pensioner groups. For bookings follow the links alongside.
