That's What She Said Exhibition Opening

Joburg Admin / August 22, 2019

What Is It?

Round off your Women's Month celebrations at the 'That's What She Said' exhibition. Hosted at the Constitution Hill Women's Jail, this is the first of many 'That's What She Said' exhibitions. What started out as a research initiative and Women's talks at the Bag Factory Artists Studio, has culminated in this artists expose. The exhibition is inspired by a series of interviews with female artists from cities such as Johannesburg, Amsterdam and Cape Town. The exhibition will be curated by Siya Cweba, in partnership with Sematsatsa Library and Constitutional Hill. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind exhibition. It is a rare opportunity for women to tell their stories through visual art, in a safe and supportive context. So, come out and support your artist sisters.

When Is It?

The exhibition opens on Thursday, 29 August 2019 and runs until Thursday, 19 September 2019.

Where Is It?

Constitution Hill Women's Jail, 11 Kotze St, Johannesburg.

How Much Is It?

Entrance to the exhibition is free.
