Award-winning singer-songwriter Thandiswa Mazwai aka King Tha, will be performing at The Lyric Theatre once again. If you're as big a fan as we are, then you know that Thandiswa has performed all over the world, sold many albums and has collaborated with the likes of Hugh Masekela, Black Coffee, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Angelique Kidjo and many more. We love her mainly for her music and spiritual lyrics that cross genres and generations.
A letter to Azania is an intimate look at Thandiswa's early life, her influences and the politicization of the artists mind. It's what she calls a sonic memoir.
