As part of their eco-initiative, Thaba Ya Batswana offers guided nature walks, hikes, group events, The Thaba Lions Educational Centre, mountain biking trails, stargazing and bush picnics. They are also involved in the Kliprivier Urban Biodiversity Corridor (KUBIC) that aims to create green urban corridors in Gauteng by fixing up the roadsides along Kliprivier road.
