What Is It?
Every year, a group of amazing cyclists take part in the Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge for fun or to raise awareness for various causes and charities. Join more than 28 000 cycling enthusiasts to celebrate the 22nd edition of the Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge on Sunday, 18 November at Riversands Commercial Park. With 947 shutting down some of the busiest roads on the continent, cyclists have no choice but to be at the start line this year. Will you be there too?
The Company Teams category offers opportunities to use the Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge as a wellness day, a team-building adventure, a powerful source of corporate exposure or a way to raise funds for a charity through the Ride for a Purpose platform. Why not approach your HR department, your boss and your colleagues to experience a fun and fierce way to get more active in a team, and enjoy a powerful sense of accomplishment on a bicycle? Hospitality packages offer custom-made chill zones for your team to enjoy post-ride, which could almost be more memorable than the hours spent on the bicycle. A separate Company Teams category will be added to the prize list. The team with the fastest aggregate time will receive R5 000 and an opportunity to choose a registered charity they would like to support with their winnings.
