Get the best of both worlds at Cowfish Parktown

Joburg Admin / April 30, 2024

Parktown's culinary scene just got a major upgrade! Since March 2024, Cowfish, the Asian-American fusion eatery, has been serving up a mouthwatering blend of Eastern and Western dishes, taking surf-and-turf to a whole new level.

Cowfish: Where East Meets West in a Delicious Fusion

Cowfish boasts a cleverly curated menu that caters to everyone’s tastes. From authentic sushi and seafood options to handmade roadhouse burgers and a variety of steak cuts, grilled to perfection, Cowfish truly has something for everyone.

For the more adventurous foodies, Cowfish offers some bold and experimental ‘Dream Sushi’ options, including Salmon Grenades, Tropical Roses, and the popular Pink Cadillac (a California roll with seared tuna, avo and pink rice, topped with prawn tempura and paprika mayo).

The Vegetarian Sushi Platter is a firm favourite among the staff, but general manager Thulani will always recommend the Boss Burger. This trusty dish features Cowfish’s signature handmade patty and a flavourful blend of chilli sauce, barbeque sauce and the chef’s secret-ingredient mayo.

Creative Cocktails and Premium Drinks

What would a blend of the best in adventurous global cuisine be without an equally adventurous drinks menu? The Cowfish team loves getting creative, which is why they are so passionate about perfectly crafted cocktails. Try the Flaming Gin and Juice – a hot combination of lemon and orange juice, bitters, gin and elderflower – a firm favourite among patrons.

For something more traditional, Cowfish also offers a premium selection of spirits, beers, ciders and craft gins, and a host of South African wines available by the glass or bottle. If you’re feeling a little more daring, opt for one of their bespoke house mixes (a Cinnamon and Sage G&T goes down a treat!).

A Welcoming Atmosphere for Everyone

Catering for families, business groups or friends looking for a place to put up their feet and savour a taste of the slow life, Cowfish appeals to all ages and demographics. This establishment truly offers something for everyone. Come for the food and stay for a first-class gastronomic experience.
