What Is It?
The Soweto Ink team has set on building an empire from a culture considered taboo in some African communities. The team has been in the business of body art for more than a decade and his clientele boasts the likes of Burna Boy, AKA, Priddy Ugly and Gigi Lamayne, among other stars. The Soweto Ink Crew, will be hosting the fourth annual Convention African tattoo culture and lifestyle event on 30th November. This event is for the people that like the lifestyle, so the convention has created that environment for everyone.
The convention includes entertainment and seminars aimed at empowering international tattoo artists. Alternative lifestyle culture, entertainment, tattoo stalls (local & International), art stalls, variety stalls, food trucks, kiddie area, live bands/ performance’s, Djs and much more. There's a competition as well, during the convention, artists will be judged on their artworks by a panel of judges and 1 skilled artist will be announced the winners of the Soweto Ink Festival 2019.
