What Is It? The South African Book Fair is an annual event where new and well-known local writers engage in discussions and debates on current issues, politics, publishing, African superheroes, literature, African philosophy and more. The South African Book Fair has a new home - the Women's Jail at Constitution Hill. This iconic venue will only add to the debates about history, literature and South African authorship. Visit the Books Beyond Words Illustration event, the Children's Magic Tent or the Underground Booksellers Tour presented by Bridge Books. You can also meet experts from the publishing sector, and be exposed to a wealth of literature and books for all ages. This event is presented by the South African Book Development Council, in association with the Fibre, Processing and Manufacturing SETA. With over 100 authors, writers, poets, illustrators and storytellers, loads of family-friendly fare, a book marketplace, tours, workshops, poetry, philosophy and more, SA Book Fair 2019 is unmissable. Don't miss it! When Is It? Friday, 6 September 2019 - Sunday, 8 September 2019.  Where Is It? Constitution Hill, 11 Kotze St, Braamfontein, Johannesburg. How Much Is It?
