What Is It?
The South African Book Fair is an annual event where new and well-known local writers engage in discussions and debates on current issues, politics, publishing, African superheroes, literature, African philosophy and more.
The Keorapetse Kgositsile Poetry Café, a pop-up poetry platform, will captivate the audience while the Author’s Corner will offer support to aspirant writers. Children will be entertained in the Magic Tent and The Little Prince will run daily at the Market Theatre.
Meet experts from the publishing sector, and be exposed to a wealth of literature and books for all ages. This event is presented by the South African Book Development Council, in association with the Fibre, Processing and Manufacturing SETA
