Showcasing art, music, literature, magic and archival footage never seen before, the Sophiatown Arts Festival is a must-visit. The first annual festival of its kind, the Sophiatown Arts Festival is a community-driven initiative. Aiming to bring back archival knowledge and the vibrancy of art once felt in every vein of this suburb. This is an awesome opportunity for the residents of Sophiatown to showcase their talents. There will be photo exhibits, food stalls, storytelling, mapping exercises, collective curation and live music! So, come and enjoy the history of this eclectic place with friends, family and neighbours. We'll see you there!
