The SLAY Festival is powered by She Leads Africa and the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD. These are organisations that support the youth who want to make a different and have ambitions to become women in the business industry. A first in South Africa, the event is hoping to create big changes through the empowerment of women. Dark and Lovely proudly showcased their natural hair range while teaching women how to style their hair using the best products in Mzansi. Dark and Lovely spoiled some guests a full glam station where they were able to get brand new styles from the talented stylists. The ladies were also able to explore a Dark and Lovely range that introduces nourishing natural hair moisturisers, hair food with nutrients, shampoos and so much more goodies to give those coils, waves and crowns some extra love. Entrepreneurs came out to showcase and sell some beautiful garments and accessories inspired by Africa and the beauty of women. The festival had various stalls with detailed African print garments, bags, accessories and so much more. The ladies did not disappoint as they came out in masses, dressed to perfection. SLAY Festival is a great platform to inspire upcoming entrepreneurs and creates a space where people can network and form long-term relationships to make something magical.
