Simphiwe Buthelezi "Lala La" Exhibition

What Is It? The Bag Factory Artist’s Studios, invites you to join them for the opening of Simphiwe Buthelezi’s solo exhibition, "Lala La". Lala la, in Zulu, translates to "come rest here". It is a theme that has run through many of Buthelezi’s previous work and that she has explored intensively. The term implies an attempt to offer comfort, reconciliation, and an acceptance of loss, while also exploring love and the idea of love as sacrifice, as something worth dying for. This exhibition will definitely be one worth attending. When Is It? Thursday, 24 January 2019 - Friday, 22 February 2019 Where Is It?
