What Is It?

Joining a book club usually comes with a lot of reading homework and pre-discussion research. Because, you never want to seem like the least well-read person in a group of intellectuals, do you? If you have always wanted to join a book club, but have been put off by all the work required, this one is just for you. The Goethe Institut invite book lovers of all kinds to the Silent Book Club. Unlike your typical gathering of literature fanatics, this is an informal event aimed at celebrating your favourite books with like-minded people. All you have to do is pitch up, engage with the people around you over a glass or two of wine, and then settle down for good quality reading time. So, don't miss out on the Silent Book Club. Where else are you going to get dedicated time to devour words with people who love books just as much as you do?
