Music lovers can look forward to hearing a veritable gourmet of melodies and a repertoire of songs that is guaranteed to warm the soul on this first installation of monthly performances to take place. Shef and the Kitchen - is an Afro jazz funk band with a rich body of work featuring songs with original lyrics that combine isiZulu, Setswana and English. On stage they have showcased their musical talents at various events from Moshito Music Conference, Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, Grahamstown National Arts Festival, Back to the City, Fête de la musique, Joburg Theatre’s Youth Unplugged, Soweto Camp Festival and recently Beam the Light Concert.
