Week 3 – T-shirt or Cardi-wrap Using the sewing block from week 2 and a commercial pattern, create a T-shirt or Cardi-wrap that compliments your body type using a knitted/stretch fabric. Week 4 – Dress or Blouse Adjust the sewing block to create a wrap dress or a wrap blouse. Compare your personal sewing block to a commercial pattern. Week 5 – Jacket An unlined jacket using the sewing block. How and where to add ease. How to create a facing and use interfacing. Discuss different lining techniques. Week 6 – Trousers Trousers, slacks, shorts, pants – How to take the correct measurements, how to adjust for the perfect fit for all sizes.
