Although we can go on and on about our shared love for books, they can be very expensive. You can easily spend a ridiculous amount of money on a couple of novels, and don’t even get us started on school textbooks. Big moola.
But this doesn't have to mean we should forego our love for paperbacks, though. Luckily there are some wonderful second-hand bookshops in Joburg. The quality of the book will determine the price you pay and for the most part, you can save a whole lot and get fairly decent quality.
