What Is It?
The Bioscope will be screening The Colour of Wine, a film and documentary by Nigerian writer, director and actor Akin Omotoso. The film tells the story of South Africa’s transition to democracy through the lens of the wine industry and the journeys of wine-makers Ntsiki Biyela, Dumisani Mathonsi, Carmen Stevens and Unathi Mantshongo. The film features a cast of rich and colourful characters from the wine community, winemakers, entrepreneurs, drinkers and tasters. This is a great way to support African films and stories.
