SA Weddings host an annual Bride of the Year contest in aid of charity and in celebration of the magic of weddings. This year a portion from ticket sales will be donated to
Project Flamingo, a charity dedicated to women suffering from breast cancer.
Thousands of brides enter the Bride of the Year contest every year. Over the year, a monthly finalist is crowned in the form of a Mrs January through to Mrs December. These finalists are determined by a public vote from the SA Weddings
online platform. The
top 12 finalists for the year then compete for the title of Bride of the Year at a stunning gala event, judged by a panel of celebrity judges. Bride of the Year for 2018 will be crowned at the Maslow Hotel in Sandton.
