What Is It?
The prestigious Russian School of Ballet is based in Parkhurst, Johannesburg. They offer classes in Vaganova Classical ballet, Contemporary Dance, Acro-Dance, Modern and Creative Dance.
The RSB will present their newly choreographed rendition of Thumbelina the ballet at the Roodepoort Theatre this April. Their classically trained dancers will take to the stage alongside guest performers to bring this magic fairy tale to life. Roodepoort natives are encouraged to bring the kids along for this unique theatre experience. Bring a bunch of flowers with too, for the hard-working performers.
