What Is It?
The Bioscope hosts sing-alongs every once in while for those who love musicals but are too afraid to sing along. Their next epic feature, which happens to be on Halloween night, is the Rocky Horror Picture Show, a movie about a newly engaged couple whose car breaks down in an isolated area, forcing them to pay a call to the bizarre residence of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and a strange evening ensues.
So, if you know all the words to Sweet Transvestite and Time Warp and know how to do the pelvic thrust, this is your chance to unleash those singing skills. No one will judge, they might just try sing louder than you. Props, corsets, and hands-on-hipping are also encouraged! There will be an optional shot of red Sambuca in case you need a little liquid courage.
