The restaurant hosts kids' events, so if you're planning to throw a birthday party, AJ's Restaurant is definitely the place to go.
With their children's play area secured, you don't have to worry about safety (but naturally, keep an eye on your little ones). The best part is, the restaurant is located on the same premises as the Craighall Sports Club, that has an outdoor field, so it's fun in the sun for everyone!
What's On The Menu at AJ's Restaurant
Since the restaurant has a diverse offering, the menu covers all major foods you'd expect, from scrumptious burgers to pizzas that will have your mouth watering at first sight. When it comes to the burgers, we highly recommend the No. 1 Burger – 180g flame grilled beef or chicken fillet, topped with bacon, feta and avo, served with a side of chips or salad. And as for pizzas, their famous thin crust wood-fired pizzas come in a wide selection of options. Our favourite being the Peppadew Chick – a cheesy pizza topped with chicken, peppadews, and onion.
Aside from the burgers, the restaurant is also popular for their Crumbed Chicken Schnitzel. Picture a succulent 300g free range crumbed chicken fillet, smothered in a creamy homemade cheese or pepper sauce, served with a side of chips or salad. Sounds delicious, right? Other meals you can look forward to are their steaks, ribs, salads, fish and chips, kids' meals and platters - there's really something for everyone.
For Something Refreshing
For drinks, the restaurant has a fully stocked bar complete with beer on tap, ciders, wines, spirits and coolers. But for non-drinkers and kids, they have yummy milkshakes, fizzy drinks and spectacular hot beverages. We love the Hot Chocolate which was absolutely amazing! You really can't get an impeccable hot chocolate like that just anywhere. A definite must-try on the beverage menu.
