This dazzling musical depicts the story of Elton John's life, from his years as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music, through his influential and enduring musical partnership with Bernie Taupin. The film also covers the darker side of his career, including his struggles with depression, substance abuse, and accepting his sexual orientation. Rocketman stars Taron Egerton (of Kingsman fame) as Elton and Richard Madden, and is directed by Dexter Fletcher.
