One of our favourite hangouts close to town is 44 Stanley in Milpark. Not only is it a great place to shop for hipster arts and crafts and other handmade goods, but it's also a great place to wine and dine and soak up the summer sun. Calexico
Calexico really is one of the few places where you would want to drink great quality beers, wines, tequila and mescal. The ambiance is laid-back, making it the best place for drinks after work or a boozy get-together with friends over the weekend. Entertainment includes live music on Saturdays and regular vinyl-set evenings, so look out for updated events. Their menu sings like a chubby Bavarian boy boasting a wide variety of nibbles such as wings, nachos, and many other unique offerings.Three Marys - Salvation Café
A local favourite, Three Marysspecialise in delicate flatbreads and sandwiches, burritos, crunchy salads and beautiful cakes. Whether you're grabbing takeout or sitting down, Three Marys is the place to get your grub on without feeling guilty. A great spot for a quick brekkie, a good coffee, or a lunch on the run, they offer street food so pretty you can't help but pop a pic on Instagram of it.Salvation Cafe

L8 Cafe has become a daily necessity for local coffee addicts and gourmet sandwich lovers - their paninis are to die for. Free WiFi and a selection of magazines and newspapers make this a wonderful, relaxing place to escape the daily grind.Vovo Telo

One of our favourite restaurants of 44 Stanley, The Leopard brings you the best food at home. Andrea Burgener and Nick Gordon, known for their Melville restaurant of the same name and other great spots like Deluxe and Superbonbon have changed their concept to a deli, small eat-in canteen and delivery concept. You'll find delicious daily meals - both hot and cold, house-made cured meats, quality dairy and eggs and all sorts of wonderful deli items.
