Welcome to PUBG's Penguinville
Players can explore Penguinville, interact with charming animal NPCs, and meet PowNin, the Ninja Penguin, PUBG MOBILE’s first-ever AI teammate. The update also features seasonal challenges, including Themed Trials and Party Invite Quests. Activities available for play range from ice gliding to collecting exclusive celebration rewards. Version 4.1 further enhances Classic Mode with refined firearms mechanics, a new Boatyard Area, and the Loot Truck system. You can also look forward to expanded experiences across World of Wonder, Home Mode, and Ranked Arena.
Global In-Game Charity Event: “Waddle for Penguin”
In partnership with SANCCOB (The Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds), the Global Penguin Society, Wildlife Conservation Network, and South African National Parks Honorary Rangers, PUBG MOBILE is launching “Waddle for Penguin”, a landmark global in-game charity event aimed at penguin protection.
Players can support the initiative by:Interacting with in-game penguin NPCs.Participating in low-carbon travel activities.Completing missions focused on cleaning oil spills that threaten penguin populations.
When global participation milestones are reached, PUBG MOBILE will donate $100,000 to support penguin habitat restoration and biodiversity conservation in South Africa. Players who join the campaign will receive an exclusive digital charity certificate in recognition of their contribution.
Beyond the virtual world, PUBG MOBILE will host an offline “Penguin Charity Run X Protection Initiative” in South Africa. This event will bring together local influencers, players, and partner NGOs. The group will participate in rescue visits, educational outreach, and content creation under the campaign’s shared mission: “Beyond the Game, Real Protection Exists.” The initiative is expected to positively impact 100,000 to 200,000 penguins globally.

Following an exhilarating PUBG MOBILE African Cup (PMAC 2025), South Africa’s ETSH ESPORTS (formerly RJC) has officially qualified for the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 Finals in Thailand. They'll be the first African team in history to reach the grand finals.
