What Is It?

Internationally acclaimed, multi award winning show The System, is coming to POPArt this August. Using physical expression, miming and dialogue, The System tells a story about three prisoners. The action takes place on an empty stage. There are no props, as themes of poverty, crime riddled communities, injustice, compassion, betrayal, friendship and values in modern day South Africa are explored. The System is based on the life experiences of three young South African males. It follows the events leading to the men’s daring escape from prison. Written by Kgosana Thekwana and directed by Seiphemo Motswiri, this is definitely one theatre show you won't want to miss.
