Oyster, Wine & Food Festival

Joburg Admin / June 2, 2012

Don't miss out on one of Joburg's calendar highlights, The Brightwater Commons' eighth annual Oyster, Wine & Food Festival. This fabulous event promises even more delicious delights this year with 40 000 freshly shucked oysters, 28 gourmet food exhibitors and wines from 32 estates on offer. Why go? The Oyster Festival is the largest of its kind in Gauteng and is second only to the Kynsna Oyster Festival. However, the Joburg event is unique in that a huge number of oysters are sold in only one venue over just fourteen hours in two days. Last year's Oyster, Wine & Food Festival saw 30 000 oysters served to more than 6 000 visitors over the weekend. Where is it? Brightwater Commons, Republic Road, Randburg When is it? Saturday, 2nd of June and Sunday, 3rd of June, 2012 from 11h00 to 18h00 How much does it cost? Entry is free, but a fee will be charged for the oysters, gourmet foods and wine
