Located in the heart of the trendy suburb of Rosebank, Obscura Bar is where the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Obscura is not just a bar – it’s an tantalising experience that defies expectations. They invite you and those seeking more than the usual, to visit and discover the hidden gems within their walls. After a long week of deadlines and meetings, stop by to unwind and explore their selection of refreshing and unique cocktails. And as for something to eat, there's a a wide selection of sharing plates, one-bite desserts, and tasty sides and salads that's sure to satisfy your palate.
So Many Cocktails To Choose From!
Lets get started with their cocktail menu. There's sure to be something to delight and refresh your palate. Explore their many signature cocktails, ranging from something fruity and sweet to a combination that's hot and intriguing. Your taste buds will be tested to the max with the blend of flavours. And if you're not feeling so bold to explore a new range of flavours, there's also a menu of classic cocktail favourites. Dry Martinis, Mai Tai, Sidecar, Penicillin, and Old Fashioned.
Not a big drinker? They also have you covered with non-alcoholic cocktails that are just as delicious. The Mexican Sweetheart sounds divine – Mango Juice, Jalapeño Syrup, Orgeat Syrup, Lime Juice, Tajin.

Next up, we explore the food menu. What we love about this spot, is that they offer sharing plates, giving you the chance to explore their various dishes in tasty bite sizes. Think Burger Sliders (your choice of Lamb, Beef, Mushroom or Chicken – two per portion); Grilled Duck; Korean Panko Chicken Wings; and Sticky Pork Belly.
There's also sides and salads that are anything but boring! To name a few, try their Aubergine Salad; Macerated Heirloom Tomato Salad; Sumo Fries; and Gochujang Charred Cauliflower.
And last but certainly not least, their one-bite desserts are an absolute must-try! The Umqombothi Banoffee Tartlet sounds so interesting. As well as their Brioche Gwinya.
