The KitKat Chocolatory Pop-Up Store Is Coming To Joburg!
For the first time in Africa, Nestlé KitKat will be launching their deliciously divine
KitKat Chocolatory, a unique pop-up store that gives chocoholics the opportunity to create personalised, handcrafted KitKats. From
24 November 2018 for four weeks, Nestlé KitKat will be setting up shop at the
Mall of Africa. Who's excited? Because we are!
The KitKat Chocolatory allows you to
explore your creative side by conceptualising your own unique KitKat using the interesting and exclusive flavour combinations available. This exciting concept has been successful for Nestlé KitKat around the globe, including in Japan, Australia, Canada, Malaysia and many others.
How It Works
To create your own KitKat 'break' at the pop-up store, follow these four easy steps:
1. Which type of chocolate?
First, select your favourite Nestlé KitKat —
white or dark?
2. Choose your toppings
Then add up to
THREE delicious toppings to your bar from their selection of 14 toppings. Included are zesty lemon pieces, caramelised hazelnut crocant, mint chips, strawberry pearls, caramel fudge, coconut, mixed berry fruit pieces, honeycomb, shortbread, tutti frutti, and more. There's something for everyone!
3. Personalise it!
Now you need to
select a personalised pack and message. You even get to include a name. The pack selection offers five different designs with stunning photography of iconic South African landmarks and African animals. Take your pick from the Johannesburg skyline, the Orlando Towers, Table Mountain, our Big Five or a gifting option. Also, there are 16 different messages to choose from.
4. Take it home
The final step is to pay. Since your own personalised bar is handcrafted, there's about a 20-minute wait for it to be made. An SMS notification will tell you when it's ready for collection. Your creation will be handed to you in a gift bag with a gift card.
And That's Not All!
As if all of this wasn't awesome enough, Nestlé KitKat has
three Special Edition chocolates that have been inspired by desserts, available at the pop-up store only. There's Milk Tart, Trifle and Black Forest. A limited number will be available each day.

The KitKat Chocolatory pop-up store will be open for business from
Saturday, 24 November 2018 to Saturday, 22 December 2018.
