The Music Run 2017

What Went Down? Joburg - on your marks, get set, GO! The Music Run by Old Mutual is finally made its way on our shores last year, bringing the beat to Joburg as part of their global tour! Attendees got out their running shoes and partied their way through this 5km run. Once they crossed the finish line, the musical festival began! What's so special about this run is that the runners decide on the playlist . All you have to do is to download the Music Voting App, listen, vote and share. Running never sounded so good - literally! The running course is, in fact, the Sound Track. Lined with over 120 speakers, the songs you voted for across five interactive and themed music zones – rock, pop, old school, hip-hop and dance - were pumping, keeping the people amped and ready to party once they've crossed the finish line. Live the beat at the ultimate after-run music festival, which included acts from world-class DJs, live bands, dancers, laser lights, LED screens, fireworks, chill out zones, giveaways and much, much more!
