Museum Night Johannesburg

Joburg Admin / August 30, 2019

What Is It?

The first edition of Museum Night Johannesburg is a multi-institution after-hours cultural experience. For one night, the public is invited to explore Johannesburg’s museums free of charge. So, come discover Johannesburg's museums in a new light, after dark. Each museum will feature a primary programme of current exhibitions. These exhibitions are supported by a secondary programme of workshops, performances, talks and other activities. The Museum Night Johannesburg programme takes place throughout the city. Focus on just one or two sites to get the best out of the experience. Make use of public or private transport to get around too. We'll see you there!
