What Is It?
Get ready for the ultimate food safari with Migrant Cuisines Tasting Tour. You'll encounter the stories of countless migrant communities. The tour will move through different spaces and places, experiencing a food tasting at each stop. The menu is made up of Chinese, Cape Malay, Mozambican, Zimbabwean, Syrian and Indian cuisine although the stories include many more migrant communities. Guests can also enjoy two paired drink tasters with the meal (beer or coffee liquor). Guests can buy other drinks on the tour too.
The entire menu is prepared by the JoburgPlaces head chef, Bulelwa Princess Mbonambi, while the guiding and storytelling is handled by Charlie Moyo or Gerald Garner.
