Medeo Restaurant Has Had A Makeover!
The
Medeo Restaurant at the
Palazzo Montecasino Hotel has just had an overhaul! Refreshed with a chic new look and feel that reflects both Italianesque and South African style, this restaurant now features bold colours and added comfort, as well as a brand-new menu offering guests something unique, infused with delicious Mediterranean flavours.
The elegant restaurant has been refurbished to ensure it continues to deliver the refined dining experience it is renowned for. David Muirhead from David Muirhead & Associates Interior Architectural Design, who were commissioned to coordinate the new design, has ensured that the ‘palatial’ and Italian integrity of the Palazzo has been retained in the restaurant, while introducing new design elements.

What's On The New Menu?
The new Medeo menu offers a world-class selection of divine à la carte options that include signature dishes such as starters of
Mediterranean Burrata – triple cream mozzarella, fresh ciabatta, heirloom tomato, basil and olive oil; Octopus carpaccio with potato salad, lemon aïoli, potato fries, smoked tomato and dill vinaigrette; fresh homemade pasta – Veal tortellini with sage and butter sauce, veal jus, Grana Padano, and pickled shimeji.
Main courses of s
ous vide chicken with spinach and goat’s cheese roulade, bell pepper sauce, baby potato and charred onion, as well as other lamb, pork, veal, fish, and steak options.
The signature dessert is the
apple strawberry crumble with caramel vanilla sauce and cinnamon ice cream. Definitely the perfect treat to end off your dining experience on a sweet note.
