&Scene is a new online streaming platform, created to keep artists and audiences connected during these difficult times. &Scene launched their first online event on Saturday, 25 April 2020 with the reunion of the 2007 South African company, as well as the local and international creative teams of the hit musical Hairspray, in their weekly Together Again slot. This coming Saturday, the spotlight will be on the cast and creative team of the 2010 production of Mamma Mia! Presented in collaboration with the Theatre Benevolent Fund, the event will raise funds for professional artists affected by the COVID-19 crisis.Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA's timeless songs composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, writer Catherine Johnson's enchanting tale of family and friendship unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

The hit show opened in South Africa in 2010 to a fabulous response. This Saturday members of the international and local creative teams, as well as cast members will reunite for one very special night, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the SA premiere.
So, put on your bell-bottoms and platform shoes and get ready for a fun night of laughs, stories, nostalgia and those unforgettable ABBA songs, while raising much-needed funds for The Theatre Benevolent Fund.
