Madame Zingara Heads To Joburg For The Festive Season!

The Celebration is an invigorating sensory experience showcased in the world's largest mirrored palace, the speigeltent known as The Queen of Flanders. The electrifying show is dinner cirque entertainment at its best, with the Theatre of Dreams pulling out all the stops in celebration and commemoration of 15 years of unique Madame Zingara magic. The Celebration showcases performers from 11 countries across the globe and SA, including former Cirque du Soleil aerial pole artist, Saulo Sarmiento from Spain, the Diabolo Girls from China, the Quick Star duo from South Africa and Argentina, a Ukrainian hand balance and contortion trio, a teeter board act from Montreal, the tiniest showgirl Miss Lola La Plume, and so much more. Aviation goddess, Cathy Specific, struts her stuff as the glamorous MC, and even the waiters contribute to the delectable madness as they dart between tables in an array of quirky costumes serving the delicious four-course dinner that has been created by top Madame Zingara chefs, Emile Goliath, Heinrich Koen and Linda Beuken. The Queen of Flanders is a three story high 650-seater hand-crafted mirrored palace, boasting upper level balconies and opulent interiors and dripping with decadence. Built in Belgium, it is the biggest of its kind in the world ... think 3 200 mirrors, 6 tons of aluminium, 5.2km of steel rods, 30 tons of galvanised steel, 70 000 floor screws, 1800m of velvet and 1200m of gold tassel, and you have an indication of the vast scale of the 12m high plush venue. Please note the age restriction is 16+. When is it? The Celebration runs on Tuesdays to Sundays at 20:15 from Wednesday, 04 November to Thursday, 31 December 2015.
