LOOSEN'S GAME LODGE is nested in a beautiful valley inside the Roodekrans Game Reserve close to the Hartebeespoort Dam. It boasts game such as giraffe, kudu, eland, hartebeest, wildebeest, zebra, impala, springbok, waterbok, blesbok, rhebok, duiker, ostrich and over 200 species of bird life. Bird walks with or without champagne breakfast can be organized as well as special hiking trials to suit the "fit and not so fit" or you can simply relax, listen to the birds, view the game and hear the cry of the jackal while watching a magnificent sunset. Owners Jürgen and Vijay Loosen have used creativity and flair in setting up this country retreat. The lodge comprises: - 2 Romantic stone and thatch cottage, very private and secluded, with their own swimming pool, lapa and outside fire place (fully equipped for four people per cottage). - A luxurious 2 bed roomed flat with magnificent views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Wholesome country breakfasts, lunches and candlelit dinners may be enjoyed in the cozy restaurant or on the terrace overlooking the Magaliesberg mountains. Jürgen, a professional chef, will cater to your every need and surprise you with his excellent cuisine. The restaurant is an ideal setting special functions or for those wishing to take a drive into the country for a peaceful Sunday lunch. The personal, friendly service will ensure that you arrive as guests and leave as friends.
