Lockdown Lowdown With Rabia Ghoor

Joburg Admin / April 24, 2020

What is the first thing you'll get up to once lockdown is over? Go to Chicken Licken, for sure! Which restaurant do you miss the most? Chicken Licken, of course. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-ka3svpcsU/ What's your favourite home-cooked meal you've made during lockdown? I did a toasted pulled chicken sandwich with caramelised onions and nacho chips about a week ago. I still think about it. What are you watching on Netflix?  Currently watching Ozark! 10/10 would recommend! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hAXVqrljbs Have you picked up a hobby or perfected a skill? I’ve been forced to thread my own brows. It’s been an interesting experience but somewhat liberating to know that I’m not entirely reliant on my brow lady. What are the three staples in your kitchen right now?  @cheakyco Orbs 😫, 2 minute noodles and Coke Zero. It’s clear that I’ve not been taking care of my body in lockdown. Coffee or tea? Tea. Slow brewed masala chai 😍 https://www.instagram.com/p/B7G8D_0AQ7o/ Who are you in lockdown with? My parents and my brother - it’s been cool to spend time with family. You don’t realise how fast paced life is until you’re forced to step back. Newfound perspective is definitely going to be an asset even once things return to normal. What are you currently most grateful for?  Most grateful for the internet and how it’s made it easy to engage with an online community in what can feel like a very desolate reality. How do you keep yourself going and motivated during this time? I have a Zoom workout class in the morning, always good to start the day off with some endorphins. Followed by breakfast, which I spend extra time making sure is super yummy. Then I shower and do a face mask, the excess of time has been a blessing for my skin, followed by some light reading on my balcony - the weather has been good. I dedicate the late afternoon and evenings to working on Swiitch related stuff. https://www.instagram.com/p/B1g9m1oAqP8/
