Trés Jolie
A great gay plus-friendly wedding reception option is
Trés Jolie, a country wedding venue on five hectares in Ruimsig, Gauteng. Tranquility is the name of the game here with landscaped gardens, water features and blend of African and European cultural values.
Chapel
Featuring a stone chapel that gives a sense of old world charm with its arch windows, iron chandeliers, railway sleeper doors and balustrades, the space suits up to 200 people, and is included in the venue hire.
For those preferring an outdoor venue, the gardens offer a splendid option with huge trees and a canopy draped with white chiffon – a vision of sophistication.
Fountain Court
Guests are welcomed into the baronial hall with visions of wrought iron balconies and chandeliers hanging from exposed beams. Mention must be made a large fireplace and fairy lights in the roof. Think enticing fantasy, or country romance if you’d prefer.
To top it off are massive pole rafters, iron balustrades and a corrugated roof. Not forgetting the fountain after which the venue is named!
Courtyard
This smaller boutique venue allows for more intimacy, suitable for 80 guests, with paint effects and a walled enclosure.
Dining room
Just off the main restaurant and able to hold 30 guests, this venue is perfect for providing the wedding feast of your dreams!
Flowers and décor
Eliminate the stress of sourcing your own and allow Trés Jolie to help with a budget-friendly in-house décor crew. We have our own underplates, candleholders, tablecloths and overplays from which to choose.
