Lesedi la Batho art foundation at their first ever Art Auction Fundraiser. Hosted with the aim of “empowering women to design their own future”, this event is a must-attend.
The Lesedi la Batho event kicks off the global awareness campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence. Raising crucial funding to sustain the foundation's projects supporting and empowering vulnerable and abused women. These include free skills training, job placement assistance and psycho-social support groups. This event also celebrates the local arts, providing a platform for artists of all walks of life to present and auction their work. So, come and see all the good work being done in South Africa in the fight to empower vulnerable women.
