Speaking about the announcement, Legacy Hotels & Resorts Managing Director, Paddy Brearley says that the hotel group’s commitment towards service excellence has not changed, but acknowledged that because of how the world has recently changed, it has also needed to adapt, to ensure guests’ peace-of-mind around safety, security and hygiene.

“We want to assure all our guests, whether at one of our hotels, lodges, restaurants, spas or conferencing venues, that in addition to them enjoying an unforgettable experience with us, their safety is our top priority and we’ll continue to take every necessary precaution to minimize the risk of infection and transmission of COVID-19,” he says.
Brearley continues to say that as all properties across the country start to re-open there is hope that there is support again for local hotels and restaurants as the country comes to grips with a new way of living.
“The signs are promising,” says Brearley. “As the easing of lockdown began, we started to see more and more guests and their families return to our lodges for game drives for some time away from their homes, but there is still a way to go.”

In order to accommodate all guests, Legacy has also increased flexibility with travel planning including current and future reservations, postponements and payment options as well as offering exciting, local packages available on its social media channels and the Legacy Hotels & Resorts
website.
“We’re all in this together,” concludes Brearley, “so we want to support those who support us and start looking ahead to getting back to business – as unusual as that may look now.”
