Khaya iBhubesi

Joburg Admin / August 23, 2006

A magnificent retreat... Khaya iBhubesi - the home of the Lion - is situated on the outskirts of the town of Parys, on the banks of the mighty Vaal River within a short driving distance of Joburg. Khaya iBhubesi is today an exceptionally distinguished Five Crystal conferencing, adventure and getaway resort in the heart of Africa. The Dumbe combines as both a conference site and an outstanding restaurant. As with everything else at Khaya iBhubesi, the catering is downright splendid. Menus can be tailored to suite any occasion. One thing is for sure the food is simply delicious and there is always plenty of it. Khaya iBhubesi has a wide variety of accommodation from which to choose. All Corporate and Team building activities are supervised by trained professionals: River rafting is an activity that can be enjoyed by young and old alike. It is a wonderful activity to encourage team spirit and it is certainly a challenge. There are two alternative courses available - 7 kms (half a day) or 14 kms stretch (full day with river lunch). High and low ropes. These are basically obstacle courses designed with team building and experiential learning in mind. With the team’s encouragement they enable individuals to discover new limits they thought they never had. Archery. Even though played in teams archery, is also a sport that encourages self discipline and concentration. Additional activities include: Paintball, Quads, Golf, Horse Riding, Game Drives Entertainment includes: Paddle boats, Canoes, Trampoline, Jungle Gym, Bird Watching, Fishing, DSTV & MNET, Volley Ball Court, Wildlife, Tea Garden and Restaurant Functions include anything from corporate dinner parties, launches, dances, to private affairs such as – weddings, birthdays, anniversaries etc. Entertainment can be arranged to fit in with your theme, such as vibrant Zulu Dancers, cabarets, musicians and singers.
