Kempton Park has 10 major schools, namely Hoërskool Jeugland, Hoërskool Kempton Park, Rhodesfield High School, Hoërskool Birchleigh, Norkem Park High, Sir Pierre van Ryneveld, Shangri-La Academy, Sonrise Christian School, Cresslawn Primary School and Maranatha Christian School. The Ekhuruleni Metropolitan Municipality offices are situated in the area.
