What Is It?
KAMERS/Makers’ 2019 events were nothing short of amazing, with thousands of handpicked, handmade South African products being showcased at their shows throughout the country.
These shows launched over 70 brand-new Makers - many of whom reported record sales thanks to the SA public, who continue to boost the artisan SME economy.
This April, KAMERS/Makers is returning to
St David's Marist Inanda for
a much-requested third Joburg show! They are looking to pack at least 180 Makers into the venue, which is one of their most popular Joburg locations. Look out for all the familiar faces, as well as scores of new traders ready to offer you the coolest artisan products you've ever seen!
Partnering To Increase Sustainability
The KAMERS/Makers partnership with Consol Glass is proving to be a perfect match. To date, they have taken a staggering 100 000 plastic bottles out of circulation through the hugely popular curvy glass bottle giveaways.
Together, they're removing the need for single-use plastic bottles at all of their shows. Consol Glass will also be returning with their pop-up shop at the KAMERS/Makers Autumn showcase event, which has become an ongoing feature at all shows.
As always, expect a proudly South African celebration of artisan craft, design, decor, fashion, food and so much more. This is a truly inspiring experience.
