As part of the massive No. One Eloff building, this destination offers visitors a foodhall, deli, tasting bar, events halls, and a number of bespoke retail shops to check out. And the latest good news is the lane is about to open permanently! Don’t Miss Their Last Preview Pop-Up Before The Big Opening The Joziburg Lane will once again open its foodhall for a pop-up streetfood extravaganza on Friday, 26 August and Saturday, 27 August 2016. Pop in to tantalise your taste buds with their foodhall traders, who are all local entrepreneurs serving fantastic streetfood with an innovative, South African twist. Joziburg Lane Joziburg Lane Opens Permanently This September As of 02 September 2016, the Joziburg Lane shops, foodhall, tasting bar, deli, and food traders will be open permanently, Tuesday to Saturday, every week. Visitors can expect a number of food traders, including Braeside Butchery, Zombie Chefs, Makoshom, Jeff’s Eats, Andy Brown, Cooking Soul, the Joziburg Deli, and Zophinda, just to name a few. Trading hours will be Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00 – 17:00; and Friday nights: 17:00 to 22:00. The Joziburg Tasting Bar will stay open into the evening on all trading days. The Joziburg Lane will be closed on Sundays and Mondays. Joziburg Lane Pop-Up Fridays And Saturdays! In addition to the regular food traders serving prepared meals, many pop-up deli food traders will join the extravaganza on Friday nights and Saturdays (daytime) to add a festive market atmosphere to the foodhall. Explore The City With JoburgPlaces Tours Joziburg Lane is the starting point for anyone keen to explore downtown Johannesburg. JoburgPlaces offers city visitors Talk, Walk & Lunch City explorations at Joziburg Lane, Tuesday to Saturday every week, from 09:00 – 14:00. Perfect for both travellers and locals alike! Tours start and end at the Joziburg Lane. At R350 per person, the tour includes a photographic presentation and talk by author and guide, Gerald Garner, a walking tour through Marshalltown with a guide which will take you to Gandhi Square, the trendy Main Street with its abundance of coffee shops and outdoor mining museum, Hollard Street, the Impala Stampede, and Chancellor House where Mandela and Tambo had their law practice in 1952.
