Jozi Youth Dance Company: Nouvelle Ére

What is it? JOZI Youth Dance Company is the first company of its kind. The mission of this company is to build dancers’ careers from a young age. With the help of the members, JYDC makes its second performance: “Nouvelle Ére” at the Roodepoort Theatre. After an incredibly successful debut season, and only brilliant reviews, the company promises to raise the level once again this year. Dancers from all over Gauteng auditioned to be a part of this exciting endeavour and the response once again has been astronomical. Audiences will be shocked at the mature performances and the deep, thought provoking, relatable subjects that are portrayed. Choreographers for 2016 include dance legend Adele Blank, Jayd Swart, Sabelo Maphumulo, Phume Sikhakhane, and Bailey Snyman. When is it? Friday, 01 to Sunday, 03 April 2016. Where is it?
