Join JAG for the Book Launch of The Qintu Collab's 'Meanwhile'

What Is It?

The Qintu Collab invites you to the official launch of 'Meanwhile' - a collection of graphic short stories about everyday queer life in Southern and East Africa. The Johannesburg Art Gallery presents the 'Meanwhile' Book Launch. One of Joburg's oldest art exhibition venues, JAG houses a collection of Pierneefs, Picassos and contemporary African artists. 'Meanwhile' is published by MaThoko’s Books (an imprint of GALA Queer Archive). Join them for refreshments and a panel discussion with contributors of the project. A selection of stories from the book will be displayed as part of The Art of Comics exhibition, which showcases over 50 artists working with comics, graphic novels and the French collective Bandes dessinées.
