Johannesburg remains one of the most popular cities in South Africa when it comes to entertainment. Whether you are new or a local, there is always a trend to follow anywhere in the city. From Melrose to Soweto, the south and the East Rand, we can't deny the influence Joburg has on us.

There is never a dull moment in places like Braamfontein, Melville, CBD (Dunusa), Sandton, Melrose and Brynston. This is true for the fashion industry too. With talented designers like Rich Mnisi, Laduma and Mandla The Great Dutch, there are a lot of creatives who are setting the bar high. The fashion and creative realm is the one to look up to.

Sports

Johannesburg is a sports loving city, being home to a plethora of sports bars where we can all enjoy the game. Melrose Arch has a perfect open space with a screen big enough for all to enjoy their favourite sport, you can always go to Shakers for a beer and to watch the Bokke. It is also time for the Varsity Cup. The games started on 4 October and will resume from 10 October until 13 October. The Old Mutual Hall at Wits will offer nerve-wracking games. The Varsity Cup entrance fee is R10 at the door.
