#JoburgCares: Avon Justine iThemba Walkathon

Joburg Admin / September 25, 2019

Time For A Change

iThemba is a Zulu word, meaning hope. To date, Avon Justine has raised in excess of R20 million through the sale of special “pink ribbon” products for breast cancer education, awareness and screenings in South Africa. Show your support for the fight against breast cancer, a disease that strikes 1 in 29 South African women. With your help, they are saving lives! And so the countdown begins to this year's Avon Justine iThemba Walkathon. Come dressed in pink and show your support to the fighters of cancer. Avon Justine iThemba Walkathon

The Pink Light Project is a global education campaign, developed in association with Cancer Research UK to deliver the Avon Breast Cancer Promise Pledge to educate women about the risks and signs and to teach women how to take action. The message reached 337 million women, thanks to the astonishing efforts of Avon's strong network of women around the world; their associates and representatives.
