What Is It? Who doesn't know the story of the beloved puppet who turns into a real boy? It's a Walt Disney classic! And now, it has been recreated into the ultimate pantomime adventure that'll be taking centre stage at the Joburg Theatre. It's the story of Geppetto’s son, Pinocchio, a wooden puppet who desperately wants to become a real boy. On his journey of discovery, he meets a crooked cat and a fox, the magical Blue Fairy who appears after wishing upon a star, Jiminy Cricket who becomes his conscience, as well as many other weird and wacky characters. It's a cautionary tale of a child's journey and a father's unconditional love. When Is It? Saturday, 11 November 2017 to Saturday, 30 December 2017. Where Is It?
